Went here for brunch yesterday. Joined the waitlist on yelp so the wait wasn't bad. Our waitress was Rachel and she was a joy! She knew the menu, made suggestions, and just had a positive attitude that made our time enjoyable. The food was DELICIOUS! We all ordered something different and it was all great. I am definitely putting this place on my brunch rotation .

So this place was a couple of firsts for me. First time in La Mesa. First time eating a Sourdough Bowl. I dont even know if I ate it the right way but it was very pretty (not something I care about since my eyes have no mouth but a welcome sight) and tasted pretty good. The place is quite nice and peaceful, a bit away from any chaotic sights, service was pretty standard, customer service was friendly. The lemonade was delish. I dont mind this spot. Plus as a Sammys Pizza megafan (affiliated restaurant) Id come again. Nothing crazy really happened but it was good.

Toasted in La Mesa is a wonderful breakfast spot that we thoroughly enjoyed. We were seated quickly, which was a great start to our morning. The location in La Mesa is charming, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Both the drinks and the food were delicious, making for a satisfying meal. We noticed that they stay open late on some days, so we're looking forward to returning and trying out their offerings during those hours. Overall, a great place for breakfast with plans to explore more of their menu soon!

We tried out toasted today! It was so good! We were seated promptly on a busy Sunday morning. Our server Kaylah greeted us promptly and was cheerful. I ordered the Bacon Benedict and my husband ordered the short rib Benedict. Both were very good and the eggs were perfectly (a huge win!) the bacon Benedict was very rich though if you are looking for a lighter breakfast. Our ice tea was refilled and plates cleared. Overall an A+ experience and will be returning!

Finally, it is an excellent place for brunch in East County. Sammy's is now toasted, and it's a hit. Fiona and Mali were pleased with its lovely decor and outside seating. Upscale brunch items with great-looking bennies plus a ton of other options. I was craving pancakes and tried the chicken and cakes, plus I added a couple of over-easy eggs. This comes with Spicey syrup and we ordered traditional because why not? Fluffy goodness. I'll be back to try the sundae. OMG Shout out to Alyssa, who was very lovely and super attentive.

First time at this restaurant. Service, ambiance, and food were amazing. Tee, our server, was the best person you could ask for. We are definitely coming back.

Been here a few times and hit the mark every time. Alfred was inviting, and on point with the bottomless mimosas. Menu has some unique items and taste great. Place an open feel to it and ample seating inside and out. Food came out quick and even though we were done and paid server still kept those bottomless drinks coming. Great service and awesome food. Haven't had a bad thing yet and I'll be back.

Me and my wife came here for lunch and had a great time. The beautiful open seating and amazing service really made our day. Our server Eric was always fast to help, gave fantastic recommendations and on top of every need. This will be a new frequent stop for us and I highly recommended you give it a try!

Great food and great service! We al tried different things from the menu and they were all flavorful and prepared well. I also had an espresso martini in place of my normal morning coffee and it was perfect!
